ShockStrap is a unique shock absorbing tie down that incorporates three of the most versatile tie down principals into one superior system and is rated at 500lbs. It is quick and easy like a motorcycle tie down, has the reliability of a ratchet system and versatility of a shock cord. The cam buckle has very aggressive angled teeth which will allow you to set the strap and maintain constant tension to keep it from moving even when wet. This same design allows you to release the cam buckle simply by pushing the button.

ShockStrap tie downs maintain tension on the webbing when stretched locking it into the buckle. When road vibrations cause loads to shift and settle, other tie downs can loosen and become unsafe. Under these conditions, ShockStrap stretches acting like a shock absorber and contracts with the load keeping it secure.

ShockStrap is made from our own formula, is polyester based and is not affected by most chemicals, sunlight, oil, salt water, fungus and moisture. Its break strength is over 10,000 lbs. and its abrasion resistance is excellent. The fiber stretch is the lowest of all material used to make tie downs and our polyester based material is as low as 5% compared to ones that are made out of polypropylene which can stretch as high as 50%.
