The CVP Harley Fuel Inlet Elbow is a solid brass one-piece design with an internal free-flow design. It replaces the two-piece plastic item that come stock on CV and early Harley Keihin "butterfly" carbs. The plastic inlet can crack, leak or break as it hardens and gets brittle with age. This means it is also nearly impossible to keep from damaging the stock unit when servicing the carb. Unlike other 2-piece design fuel inlets the CVP Fuel Inlet Elbow eliminates any possible leak issues and allows for use of a larger diameter 5/16" fuel hose, providing the best connection for maximum fuel flow.
